anyway, as a farewell post.
prometheum day was today, which means as a batch we're officially on the way out, and its time for the sec threes to take over. i have absolute faith they're going to do a much better job than we did.

who the hell am i kidding? at least two leadership figures look like a total joke to me, it happens to be the batch with scores of people who exist as a cosmic joke played upon us, and not to mention the fact that i'm blinded by batch pride.

the transition to the senior half of this noble institution is daunting enough.
am i going to enjoy myself? maybe. am i going to stress myself out like nobodys business? definitely.
am i going to enjoy being a junior again, with a batch i'm not particularly fond of because certain things have happened?
maybe. growing up changes perspectives, and who says nothing changes?

on an unrelated note, i found my moleskine while digging through my bag. i have way too many (half-used) notebooks for my own good. some things in there were retrospectively interesting. heh.

didn't make the cut for OIP 09. i'm not sure how i feel about it, though im sure its for the best. it would have been nice to revisit surabaya though, but i'm going to have to find another way to go back someday.
maybe in five years time, as a weekend getaway with a few friends on a budget airline. that would be a challenge, for one.

the past two days have been the most awesome days in a long long time
today was boring, so whatever right

friday was cool cos a lot of good things happened
like malay paper 2
and it was like quite slack cos i didnt have last period
but i did have a splitting headache
so i cabbed back home, which was a once in a blue moon luxury
it was pretty brilliant at that

then came saturday
which was home creation (refurbishment and bloc party)
and that went really well
a good number of 4K dudes turned up to help
hooray for you all, suf, vincent, kenneth, adhi, jason, sergio and fitri
and nas, iqbal and syafiq came over to help
so the painting went along quite well
and the walls were frickin white by the end of the day
on the other hand we knocked out a lot of their nails which we had to hammer back in
and i had to stick my hand down the toilet
but yeah
block party was awesome cos we got lots of free food
and it was nice, with the atmosphere and stuff

two weeks to EOYs
prepare the gallows already, im so dead

~~i guess~~ i believe that no matter who you are or where you come from, hari raya is something that should be shared with friends and family. and loved ones, whether they know it or not. and it's also a better time to reflect on the past year and make resolutions as opposed to new year's really, because what significance is there in the new year?

i wasn't really going to send out mass smses this year, but the thought of personalizing each and every message, let alone choosing who to send to...
no thank you. i'll never get them done, so you'll have to bear with that awkwardly phrased message.
but seriously though, maaf zahir dan batin atas segala kesalahan, jika salah cakap salah buat salah apa2 samada perasan ke tak, sengaja ke tak.
and to our non-muslim, non-malay friends, why not extend the olive branch as well? hari raya is a time of peace offerings and amends anew for all. (well, ramadhan is, but why not now if not then since we're in a celebratory mood)
so, i seek forgiveness, both physical and emotional, if i did or said anything wrong, whether i realised it or not, whether i did it on purpose or on accident.

anyway, at least the half the week's over already. long weekend coming up, and fasting month in a bit more. its not gonna get better from here on out, so we've all just gotta hang in there.
